Codeword Solver is a free tool that runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

The solver uses your browser's local storage to remember your recent searches. This data never leaves your device.

Dictionary API

When you tap "View Meaning" on a result, we fetch the definition from the Free Dictionary API (api.dictionaryapi.dev). The word you look up is sent to their servers. Please review their privacy policy for details.

Datamuse API

If you enable the "Also search Datamuse" option, your search pattern is sent to the Datamuse API (api.datamuse.com) to enhance results. This is optional and off by default.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required by WordPress for basic site functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage patterns. No personal data is collected or shared with third parties for advertising.
